Amber Nicholson (Ngāruahine) BMD (AUT), BCom(Hons), PhD (almost) Amber is a lecturer in the Management Department at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and PhD candidate at the University of Auckland Business School (UABS). She is also on exec committee of the UABS Ngā Taniwha Māori Alumni network. Her PhD, 'Whenua tūpuna, whenua hauora: Ancestral and relational landscapes' explores Māori wellbeing through the relational force of hau, recognising ancestral landscapes and relationships as integral to wellbeing. When not writing, Amber spends most of her time with her very opinionated toddler.
